Its time to be thinking about Christmas.
Why not a cute TuTu for your favorite girl in your life or a Whimsical sign for your Mom or Grandma?
I have lots of new things to come and hope to hear from everyone soon about orders.

I also am going to post a new back ground design hopefully weekly.

FAQ on TuTus
FAQ about TuTu’s
Q: So... why tutus?
A: Well... why not? They're fun to make, they look good and they brighten the place up. :)
Q: What are your tutus made of?
A: The waist band is made using 1-inch-wide stretchy elastic and the skirt is made from high quality dress net.
Q: Who do you make your tutus for?
A: Anyone who wants a tutu, really. From young to old, slim to curvy and everything in between. (Dolls & pets too!)
Q: I'd like to order a tutu, but I'm not sure what you mean by "specifications". Could you explain?
A: Certainly. There are 3 things I need from you in order to make your tutu just right. 1. Your waist or hip measurements, preferably in inches. 2. Your desired skirt length, preferably in inches. 3. Your choice of color(s). It's as simple as that. :)
Q: What colors do you have to choose from?
A: At the moment I can get just about any color. Light Pink, Hot pink , classic pink, rose pink, purple, aqua, black, white , ivory , Tinker Bell green, red, light blue, lemon yellow. You name it I will try to find it!
Q: How long are your skirts?
A: As long or as short as the person ordering wants them to be.
Q: How long does each tutu take to make?
A: That depends on several factors, like the length of the skirt in question, size of the waist, etc... but on average, once started, each tutu usually takes between 2-4 hours.
Q: After ordering, how long should I expect to wait before I receive my skirt?
A: This also depends on several factors. I will aim to have each skirt ready as soon as possible after an order is placed, but if I have a lot of orders it may take me a while to get to yours. Likewise, if I am away for a time I may not be able to start work on your skirt until I get back. Each completed skirt will be sent first class (including packages being sent abroad) to ensure a speedy delivery. :)
Q: How are your tutus made?
A: With love and care. :) These are no-sew tutus, which means each strip of fabric is handled and attached individually. I cut out lengths of dress net, double them up, fold them in half, and tie them safely and securely onto the waistband. Once the waistband is covered, each strip of net is then also tied to the strips either side. This not only ensures extra security, but also works to give the skirt more volume and "puff-factor". I should also add that because there is no (or very little) sewing involved, these tutus are virtually impossible to break. :)
Q: Can I wash my tutu?
A: You can indeed, although not in a machine. For best results, hand-wash in warm, soapy water and rinse to get rid of any bubbles. To dry, shake the tutu off (much like a dog getting out of the bath) and leave to drip-dry. Your tutu will then be clean and as good as new. Avoid using fabric softener.
Q: Should I be wearing anything underneath my tutu?
A: Some of the skirts, especially the lighter-coloured ones, will be a bit see-through, so I would recommend wearing something underneath. Either a pair of leggings, shorts, trousers or opaque tights.
Q: Are these tutus suitable for ballet recitals?
A: I'd say probably not, although I'm sure they'd be more than fine for classes. For a real ballet tutu, I would suggest going to a ballet shop. My tutus are more suited to fashion and costume-play.
Q: Can I bulk-order some tutus?
A: Of course, although depending on the amount of tutus you order, it may take me some time to get them all finished and sent. If you need them for a specific event or date, you'll need to place your order well enough in advance to guarantee you'd get them on time. If you're unsure, please feel free to email me and make an enquiry first.
Q: Are your tutus on sale anywhere?
A: Not yet… Hopefully Etsy.com and local craft stores SOON!
Q: You mentioned something about "extras"?
A: I did. By "extras" I mean decorations, or little bits and bobs I can add to your tutu to make it extra-special. Colored ribbon, for example, silk or paper flowers, feather butterflies, rhinestones, acrylic gems, strips of colored fabric or shapes cut out of felt.
Q: So, how much do your tutus cost?
A: Prices vary, depending on size and the type of tutu you want. The prices are listed on the Prices note page or I can email you the prices if need be.
Q: Where can I reach you?
A: You can contact me either by sending me a pirvate message at tootles_tutus@yahoo.com , contacting me threw my Blogspot tootlestutus.blogspot.com
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: My preferred form of payment is Paypal - it's easy, fast and making an account is completely free. Additionally, I also accept personal checks or Money Order or Cash . If you wish to pay by check or cash, I will provide you with the details via email when you order. :)
Q: Anything else I should know?
A: Well... cookies are always better served warm, there is no opposite of orange and you're never too old to twirl. ;)
Hope this helps,
~Amber

New lay out.......
So...... I but up a new layout that I found at smitten blog designs... they have some very cute ones and I plan to redo mine for each season and holiday!
I would really like to know what you all think of it. I'm currently reading a book on blogging! How to do it correctly and what not. It is very helpful.
When I started the blog I thought I would do it for just my business that I was trying to start but now I see and feel that you have to had a piece of your personal flair to it to help people relate to the person behind the blog.
My friend that blogged about her cancer had over 250,000 visitors in her 3 short years of blogging- people from all over the world read her blog daily (myself included) it was a way for everyone to share with her the ups and downs of the great battle.
So I have decided that I'm going to post about not only my products but maybe share a funny story with you ever now and again.
Now on to products!!!! YEA!!! I have some really beautiful Aqua & Cream to make a TuTu!!! It looks like the ocean! I adore it! I have some older barn windows that are for sale also. Any Q's feel free to email me at tootles_tutus@yahoo.com or leave a comment here. Really hoping to set up shop on Etsy soon! We have paypal and will do shipping! I will only charge what it actually is to ship. Just let me know. Hope everyone enjoys the new back ground!

Bring on the COLD!!!!
We had a nice Halloween, got to see friends that we havent seen in awhile, got to dress my lovely little girl up as a butterfly ( It was soooo cold!) and not to mention the free candy!! I now know why parents have to 'check' the candy before kids are allowed to eat it... so they can pick out their favorites!
We are in full swing towards winter fun and Christmas time! I will be making a Aqua and cream TuTu in the next few weeks... the color is soo beautiful! I want one!
I have bunches of new colors.
OH!!! Im getting ready to set up shop on Esty.com when I do I hope y'all will come and visit me. My friend Tina and her husband Mick set up shop there and have down great! So fingers crossed I will too! :)
Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!
